The solar thermal system

The new PLEION FREE S 300/2 natural circulation solar system is one of the brand's most high-performance systems. Suitable for both flat and pitched roofs , the system consists of two KSF-S25 solar panels and a 300-liter boiler .

The panels are among the most innovative on the market as they guarantee maximum light transmission and therefore offer high efficiency, savings and excellent performance even in periods of mediocre irradiation. The KSF-S25 solar collector consists of a large absorbing surface that captures and converts solar radiation into heat, through tempered glass that maximizes the amount of solar radiation absorbed. The frame, which is also very lightweight, has a resistant, robust structure and offers high protection against deterioration, thanks to the welded profiles and the above-average thickness of the aluminum structure. The KSF-S25 collector can be installed both vertically and horizontally. The absorber is made of aluminum welded to the copper circuit using laser technology, with a peak collector power of 1802 W. The U1 class tempered glass cover is highly resistant; the internal rock wool insulation ensures minimal heat loss. The collectors are Solar Keymark certified .

The PLEION FREE S 300/2 natural circulation solar system combines a 300-litre boiler with the two panels. The boiler is of the cavity type for DHW, with optimal heat transmission via the cavity exchanger . This tank is certified (DIN 4753-3) , safe and efficient with a protective magnesium anode and thermal insulation guaranteed by 50 mm insulation in self-extinguishing 45 kg/m3 rigid polyurethane foam with pre-painted sheet metal cladding. High-performance and durable over time, resistant to atmospheric agents.

The system is ready to be installed ; it is supplied complete with a universal installation system for flat and pitched roofs* , a hydraulic kit for connecting the collector, a 1kW electrical resistance and solar antifreeze liquid.

*NB : The pitched roof fixing system included in the package is for fixing to tiles/roof tiles using screws . It is possible to opt for fixing using under-tile hooks by purchasing a specific optional PLEION Hook System kit separately, which varies depending on installation requirements.
